Hello families, 

Hope everyone had a safe and happy holiday!  We are excited to host Raleigh Racquet on July 5th.  Swimmer check-in is at 4:45 and warm-ups begin at 5:00pm.  Please make sure to bring your goggles and swim cap.  

We are still in need of items for concessions, below is the link to sign-up

Several volunteer spots are UNFILLED; we need a STARTER, an ANNOUNCER, a RECORDER, RIBBON DELIVERY, a GRILL MASTER, and CONCESSIONS.  

If your are able to fill a spot, please sign-up on Swimtopia.  To do this- log onto Swimtopia- Click on the drop down- Meets&Events and go to the meet on 7/5 and go to Job SignUp. 

Volunteers are:

Starter: (Starts each event and heat. TSA provides free STARTER TRAINING at 2 clinics prior to the start of the season in late May or early June.) : UNFILLED

Announcer (Announce upcoming events, scores, records, etc.) : UNFILLED

Clerk of Course (Organizing swimmers behind the starting blocks in the right lanes and heats. Record deviations from the original heat sheet): Martha Shafer

Assistant Clerk of Course: UNFILLED

ScoreKeeper/ Meet Administrator: (Responsible entering meet information into Meet Maestro, or on scoring pages such as Place Judge record, Disqualifications and times if used. Scores can be generated from Meet Maestro, or tabulated on traditional scoring pages) : Ariel Gonzalez

Timers: Bill Beerman, Ngoc-Tuyet Le, and Jesse Pape

Place Judge:(Watches main event finishes and reports to the recorder the order of finish.) Andrew Davisson, Beth Putz, and Austin Walther

Recorder (Stands with the Place Judges and records the order of finish as viewed by the Place Judges. Record is then delivered to the Meet Administration table by a runner.): UNFILLED

Stroke & Turn Judge: (Verifies that main event heat athletes are swimming each stroke in accordance with TSA rules.) : Jean Gray Mohs

Runner: (Picks up place judge records and DQ slips from meet officials during the meet and delivers them the Meet Administrator. If timing sheets are used, collects those and delivers to Meet Administrator.) : Dan Aber

Ribbon Delivery: (Hand heat-winner and meet participant ribbons to swimmers as they exit the pool for all heats in individual events except main event.) : UNFILLED

Kid Pusher: (Keeps track of younger swimmers and moves them to the Clerk of Course in time for their events.) : Megan Dunning and Jaclyn Shaffer

Floater/Sub:(Substitute for absent volunteers, and temporarily relive others as necessary.) Caroline Patterson and Nikki Plavec

Grill Master: UNFILLED

Concessions: (Sell food and drinks during meet) :UNFILLED

Hospitality: (Sever water and snacks to meet officials.) :UNFILLED

TSA REP: (TSA reps officiate the meet. One TSA Rep from each team will ensure TSA rules and guidelines are followed. Any disputes will be solved by the two TSA Reps on deck.) : Mary Norman
