Southall Swim Team week of 6/22/26
Swim Team Families,
Lots going on this week! Following is information for all events, as well as looking ahead to the following week.
IMPORTANT REMINDER: Alcohol consumption and tobacco use are strictly prohibited by the TSA for all participants, coaches, volunteers, and spectators during the meet. Any violation could force our team to forfeit the meet and face the TSA grievance committee.

Week of 6/22:
- Regular Practice Schedule. Morning and evening practices for all swim groups. Monday, Thursday, Friday: 9-10am and Monday, Wednesday*, Thursday: 5.45-6.45pm
- Monday: Tiffany/Ted Engagement Party for swimmers ages 11-18 during evening practice, details attached
- Tuesday: Home meet with Hedingham on 6/23, 4.45 to ~9.30pm, details attached
- Tuesday: Donations urgently needed for 6/23 meet concessions, sign up here!
- *Wednesday: Annual Swim Team Lock In party on 6/24. Under 10s: 5:30-7pm, 10+: 5.30-9pm, details will be sent in separate email
- Friday: RSVP required by 6/26 at 8pm for 6/30 away meet at Lifetime Fitness
*Swimmers not declared by deadline will not be able to participate in the meet*
Looking ahead, week of 6/29:
- Regular Practice Schedule. Morning and evening practices for all swim groups. Monday, Thursday, Friday: 9-10am and Monday, Wednesday, Thursday: 5.45-6.45pm
- Tiffany/Ted Engagement Party for swimmers ages 8-10 on 6/29 during evening practice. Details will be sent in next week’s newsletter.
- 6/30 away meet at Lifetime Fitness. Details will be sent in next week’s newsletter.
Hedingham Meet 6/23 (home)

Volunteers sign ups are as follows, alphabetized by last name.
There will be a volunteer meeting at 5.45pm to explain all jobs. Meets are run solely by volunteers. If you are unable to fulfill the role you signed up for please let organizers know ASAP by emailing [email protected].

Donate Concessions for Home Meets
Selling concessions at our home meets is one of the primary ways we raise money to support the swim team. Our concessions committee has made it easy to donate items for ALL the home meets (6/16, 6/23, 7/14), please sign up here. Items must be dropped off at the pool no later than 4.45pm on the meet day.
All swimmers should bring swim caps*, goggles, towels, and water bottles to practice
*Caps are REQUIRED for all swimmers with hair that passes their eyebrows (boys and girls), this is a safety issue to prevent hair from getting in eyes or tangled in lane ropes.
