Southall Swim Team week of 7/13/26
Swim Team Families,
This week is our last regular season meet and the TSA Championship meet. Let’s finish strong, Seahorses! Lots going on this week, please read carefully.
Week of 7/6:
- Last day of regular practice on Monday, morning and evening
- Practice for TSA Swimmers ONLY: Wednesday pm and Friday am (no Thursday practice)
- Monday: deadline to submit photos for banquet slideshow to Coach Ellie (see email from 7/5)
- Monday: high school swimmers dinner (if you have not RSVP’d please do so TODAY)
- Tuesday: Home meet with Oak Park on 7/14, 4.45 to ~9.30pm, details attached
- Tuesday: Donations urgently needed for 7/14 meet concessions, sign up here!
- Thursday: Swim Team Banquet, 7/16 6-8pm. Donations/volunteers needed, sign up here (note: Banquet rain date is 7/20)
- Sunday: TSA Championship meet on 7/19, details to follow later this week
Oak Park Meet 7/14 (home)

IMPORTANT REMINDER: Alcohol consumption and tobacco use are strictly prohibited by the TSA for all participants, coaches, volunteers, and spectators during the meet. Any violation could force our team to forfeit the meet and face the TSA grievance committee.
Volunteers sign ups are as follows, alphabetized by last name. There will be a volunteer meeting at 5.45pm to explain all jobs. Meets are run solely by volunteers. If you are unable to fulfill the role you signed up for please let organizers know ASAP by emailing [email protected].

Donate Concessions for Home Meets
Selling concessions at our home meets is one of the primary ways we raise money to support the swim team. Our concessions committee has made it easy to donate items for ALL the home meets (6/16, 6/23, 7/14), please sign up here. Items must be dropped off at the pool no later than 4.45pm on the meet day.
TSA Championship Meet, 7/19
Additional meet day details will be sent closer to the event once we receive them from TSA. Please note, the TSA Championship is an all day event but organized by age group (youngest to oldest), so you’ll only attend for portion(s) of the day.
All swimmers should bring swim caps*, goggles, towels, and water bottles to practice
*Caps are REQUIRED for all swimmers with hair that passes their eyebrows (boys and girls), this is a safety issue to prevent hair from getting in eyes or tangled in lane ropes.
