Congratulations on a fantastic swim team season! Following is information about season results as well as wrap up items/next steps.

Season Results
This was Southall’s fifth winning season in a row. TSA ranks teams into divisions (10 total) based on skill and size. Over the past three years, Southall has moved up two divisions and is currently in Division 6.

Southall Swim Team

We are incredibly proud of every one of our 170 swimmers. Success is measured by personal bests swims and over half our swimmers had 10+ personal best times this season. In addition, congratulations to the swimmers who competed at the TSA Championship Meet on 7/19/26. Southall sent the most swimmers to the TSA Championships to date. All the swimmers had 2-3 personal best swims during the meet. See all TSA results here.

This fantastic season would not have been possible without the dedication of our swimmers, the coaching staff, parents, community, and the Southall Board of Directors. Congratulations to every member of our Southall Seahorses family.

Keep Swimming
For Seahorses interested in swimming during the year, Coach Tiffany recommends the following:

• Start with City of Raleigh swim at Optimist Pool or Pullen Aquatic.
• If swimmer enjoys City of Raleigh and wants to do more, consider year round: YOTA (YMCA of the Triangle), New Wave, RSA (Raleigh Swimming Association), or TAC (Triangle Aquatic Center) Titans
• Another option is Seahawks Homeschool Swim Team
• We can’t wait to see your swimmer(s) again next summer!

Southall Swim Team Goals and Growth
Coach Tiffany shared the following regarding swim team goals, what we’ve accomplished the last four seasons, and what’s next.

Southall Swim Team Goals for Summer 2022-2026 (all achieved)

1. Strengthen and grow positive culture and community amongst swim team at Southall
2. Grow the team in numbers
   Results: 77 swimmers in 2022, 112 swimmers in 2023, 131 swimmers in 2024, 162 swimmers in 2025, 170 swimmers in 2026
3. Develop a strong and successful team
   Results: Prior to 2022, Southall did not have a winning season since 2010. The last five seasons (2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, 2026) have been winning seasons with 2024 and 2025 undefeated seasons.

Southall Swim Team Goals for Summer 2027-2029 (continuing)

1. Maintain and strengthen goals 1-3 from 2022-2026 seasons
2. Develop Culture where swimmers want to come back to Southall Community after graduation. Southall is an intergenerational community and we are hopeful that swimmers who graduate want to come back and visit.
3. Strengthen, Retain and Build the Culture of swimmers age 11-18.
   In 2020 season, only 24 swimmers were age 11-18. In 2024 season, 38 swimmers (25% of team). In 2025, 30% of the team are age 11-18. We want to continue to support this positive growth. The coaches established older swimmers’ events (Older Kid's Dinner, Older Kids' Triathlon and Older kids time of lock-in) to help build and support the older swimmers on the team.
